Hi

I did a scan for adware and found MyWay.MyWebSearch. I tried to delete it but it won't delete, it says something about it's still currently in memory. I did another scan in Safe Mode and it still won't delete.

I found a folder called "MyWebSearch" and tried to delete it but it won't let me. The folder is empty. Any ideas?

Yup, you're going to have to do the "Pre-Work" (link below) and let our Security guys take a look at the logs.

Look in your add/remove programs and uninstall any of these if found:

MyWebSearch
MyWebSearch Email Plugin
MyWebSearch Search Assistant
MySearchBar
My Way
My Way Speedbar
Search Assistant - My Way
Fun Web Products

Delete these folders if found:

C:\Program Files\FunWebProducts
C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch

After that post the HJT and Ewido logs to check if there is more.
