Im new, and This seems like the best place for this. Im having a bit of trouble with the internet. I think its a virus, but im not positive. I can connect to the internet on Xbox live. Im on it now on my old hard drive. However, on my new Hard drive(by new, i mean its almost a year old now) I cant. Firefox/IE both say they couldnt load the page, as if the internet wasnt even connected. Some other oddities are my System Restore wont work. It says system restore will not work(something like that) please restart and try again, which does not work. Its worked before and i havent messed with any of its settings. I use Etrust EZ Armor, and when i right click--->autoupdate, it flashes the update screen then it vanishes. I tried Ad aware and it said it could not find the library/definitions. Its like it doesnt even try connecting to the internet, it just instantly stops. I tried using Hijack this! and it did not return any seemingly suspicious things (i dont claim to know very much about what it returns persay, but ive used it enough to identify familiar and safe entries) OS: windows XP. Ive checked the running processes, again nothing that looks suspicious to me. Odd problem, eh? Again, sorry if this is the wrong place.

Hi there Liquidgld9 , sorry for the late reply. I wasn't feeling to well for the past couple of days.

Youre hjt log is clean , but Ewido did remove a bunch of problems. Are the problems still present after having run Ewido?

If yes , then please do a Panda AV scan here:

And post back the log from that scan please.
