Default Virus Issue

Okay, well. Backround story of how i think i got this. I was looking for a crack for a CD so i could lend my disk to my friend, downloaded a file, and bang...spyware starting coming up on my computer.

This virus makes pop ups come like every 30 seconds even when i'm offline with advertisements, and messages that say "my computer is not functioning", and also...we got the naked people pop ups, which if my parents found they would absolutely murder me. Also sometimes i get a message on my toolbar, near the applications on the right side next to the time where a message comes up saying either "i have a virus" or "something is not functioning." this is part of the spyware problem also. i know this because when i click it, it directs me to different sites advertising their rogue spyware. some websites it links to include adware punisher and spygaurd.

I ran Norton antivirus full scan and ad-aware many many times. each time they clame to have found a virus/spyware and remove it. however, it comes back next time i restart or even like an hour later!

I'm mainly concerened that if the porno popups don't go away, my parents will jump to conclusions and kill me.

Any advice would save my life.

Hya AMS9784 , welcome to PCHF.

Lets see if we can prevent you getting into trouble with youre parents.

Download Smitrem to your desktop:
http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/click...click.php?id=1
Run the installer and then press Start to Extract the
files to the desktop, Do not run it yet.

Reboot into safe mode (Reboot and keep tapping F8 , then
choose safe mode from the list)

Run SmitRem:
Open the SmitRem folder and double click the "RunThis.bat" file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen , wait for the tool to complete , and disk cleanup to finish.

The tool will create a log named smitfiles.txt on the drive that you ran Smitrem on, eg; "C:\smitfiles.txt" , or the partition where your operating system is installed on.
Please attach this log to your next reply.

Note: XP users using the XP theme may ex-perience a change to the Classic Windows theme. This can be changed on the themes tab of desktop properties.

After that please follow the instructions in the "Prework" link below in my sig , and when done , please post the Smitrem log , the Hijackthis log and the Ewido log.

You will need to reload your wallpaper as the SmitRem
tool will reset it, you can do this by right clicking
desktop and choosing properties, First check Theme and
set it to Windows XP then click the Desktop tab and
choose the one you want to use and press apply.

Hya AMS9784.

The links dont work im afraid , and the files also havent been uploaded to the server it seems , i cant find them. Please try again , and no need to make the urls in youre post youreself.

In the attachments window just browse to the logs and select them one by one , when done press the "upload" button on the right and close the attachments window. They will be attached to youre post then.
