Everything went just fine. And you have a Vundo and a Winhound infection on there , but we should have you clean in no time .

Please download VundoFix.exe from here , and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
  • You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
  • When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
  • Turn your computer back on.

Then download Smitrem to your desktop:
http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/click...click.php?id=1

Run the installer and then press Start to Extract the
files to the desktop, Do not run it yet.

Reboot into safe mode (Reboot and keep tapping F8 , then
choose safe mode from the list)

Run SmitRem:
Open the SmitRem folder and double click the "RunThis.bat" file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen , wait for the tool to complete , and disk cleanup to finish.

The tool will create a log named smitfiles.txt on the drive that you ran Smitrem on, eg; "C:\smitfiles.txt" , or the partition where your operating system is installed on.
Please attach this log to your next reply.

You will need to reload your wallpaper as the SmitRem
tool will reset it, you can do this by right clicking
desktop and choosing properties, First check Theme and
set it to Windows XP then click the Desktop tab and
choose the one you want to use and press apply.

Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt , the smitrem log , and a new HiJackThis log.

Maybe the winhound infection is interfering , do the Smitrem instructions first and then try to run the vundofix after that.

If that doesn't work , no biggie. I know severall ways to kill a Vundo infection.

Default this may have worked

Joe5, since running those three programs, I have not had any popups or "so called" virus detections on my computer. I have been on for about two hours and it is running great. Let me know if there is anything else I need to do. I also downloaded the grifsoft AVG to run as an AV program. Will this interfer with Norton AV?

Thanks so much for your help.... YOU guys are great!!!!
