Early hours of this am, my partner woke me very worried - he has been looking at naked ladies on the internet (that didn't worry HIM!) and got afull screen meesage in the browser sayinb he had been tracked - details passed to the police etc etc. After I laughed, thinking it was a scam to get suckers to pay to have these images wiped from their systems, I started to rid my computer of cookie and images that I do not want to see; I found that the homepage had been reset to this message - i tried to change it back but to no avail.

I have spent the last few hours searching the internet for help - I have run spybot, ad aware, fixbmal e and hijackthis - Symantec and Trend housecall have both scanned my pc and have all found and removed 'threats'. But still my homepage remains the same!

Also, my pc is now runnningnmuch slower than usual and it will not shut down - it hangs as it displays the shutting down message and I have to pull the plug
