Heya im back again :P well for help that is well umm when i am on msn it just seems to log out instantly sometimes without no trace at all my mate says someone has got my password ect how can i find out if i have a keylogger, or is this a regular problem on windows messenger.

also please may i ask which firewall you reccomend as i intend to install one to replace my mcaffe rli old one thanks bi.

If someone was logging in on another pc with your user details it would log you out with a message something like "You have been signed out of messenger as you have logged onto a computer elsewhere." What version of msn messenger are you running?

Many firewall programs out there does the job with no problems. I personally find that NAV 2005 firewall is a good blocker (even blocks the programs that you don't want to be blocked)

I use ZoneAlarm pro for firewall , but they also have a free version.

And to check for keyloggers and other malware , please follow the instructions in the "Prework" link below and attach the 2 log files to youre next post. :smiley:

on my cousin's pc it was infested with viruses and spyware resulting to WaY slow and unable to use so they brought it to the technician and re-fix it, but when it was fixed it was still swarmed by those nasties.. well i fixed most of them and runs fast but there still some annoying stuff that's goin on..
when you use yahoo messenger it immediately closses/disappears like a bubble..
I'll just post the preworks when i get there..
