Default Can't delete files

Hi I'd appreciate any help you can give me. I have four files that I simply can't remove, always the message appears that they cant be removed as the file name, folder name or volume label syntax is incorrect. I've obviously tried manually removing them, also through the command prompt, ive tries doing it in Safe mode, tried virus scans, all sorts of malware scanners, tried a special program someone recommended, some force remover, but it wouldnt work either, you name it ive tried it...two are GIF files, and the other two HTM files. I have a suspicion their malware of some kind. I cant even write their names as their all in non-standard script with accents and strange casing. PLEASE PLEASE any suggestions? I'm going mad with it. :cheesy:

Hya WB , give this app a try:

http://www.purgeie.com/delinv/index.htm

And to check if they are indeed malware related you could have a go at the "Prework" instructions below.

I dont know if this helps or not, but when you try moving the files the error comes up - "Cannot move file: cannot read from the source file or disk"
