tried as suggested, but when i follow the link to download the pattern file, i cant find it anywhere, nore is sysclean an option on trend micros website, anyone know where i can get the pattern file

It looks reasonably straight forward. Did you follow the directions and save the file to a folder on your desktop?

I'm afraid that I don't know what you mean by "pattern file". Your link opened into a download box.

click the second link, the readme, it has a address to download the pattern file, but when u click it, its not there.


Download the latest pattern file lpt$vpn.XXX in ZIP format as
lptXXX.ZIP from the following location:
<http://www.trendmicro.com/download/pattern.asp>

This file must be saved in the same folder where you run
this fix package.

:cheesy: OK, I see what you are talking about. The reason nothing happens when you click on that link, is that it is not a hyperlink. Try copying it into your browser it takes you right there,

Seems to be some way of doing updates as the "pattern" files have version numbers on them.

Let us know how it works for you, this is one product from Trend Micro I am unfamiliar with.

the link works for me, it takes me to the site, but the file isnt there. there are other patern files, but none are the one the program requests. it specifically wants the one named

lpt$vpn.XXX

where the .xxx stands for the version or something.

You need to click on the "Official Version Release" that will take you to the file. the $ also stands for the version number, in this case 1.

well, i cant find the file, when i click that it gives me tsc.zip, but when i run the program, it says it cant find the file
