Can you reboot in safemode and fix these with Hijackthis:

O2 - BHO: MSEvents Object - {827DC836-DD9F-4A68-A602-5812EB50A834} - C:\WINDOWS\repair\keyip.dll
O4 - Global Startup: Digital Line Detect.lnk = ?
O9 - Extra button: MUSICMATCH MX Web Player - {d81ca86b-ef63-42af-bee3-4502d9a03c2d} - http://wwws.musicmatch.com/mmz/openWebRadio.html (file missing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: keyip - C:\WINDOWS\repair\keyip.dll
And then delete the file in bold , and after that run cleanup again.
Then reboot and post a new hjt log please.

I don't think that worked. I received a message that the file was in use and could not be deleted, and I don't think HJTworked either because it is still there. I ran the log again. :banghead:

Hi Umbuds,

Yea if it didn't let you delete it, it would still be in HJT.

Give this a try, boot back into safe mode. Go to your navigate to C:\Windows\repair\
right click on keyip.dll and try to rename it.

If it still won't let you, go to Start, Run, and type in cmd in the dialog box. Once in command, type in cd C:\ and hit enter, then type cd Windows\repair and hit enter
next type in del keyip.dll and hit enter.

If either of those work, rerun CCleaner, rerun HJT and fix the listings joe told you to before. Then reboot and run HJT again and post your new log.

No luck again. Couldn't rename. Couldn't delete from the command prompt either. Keep getting the message about the file being used by another application. Any idea what this thing is that I am trying to get rid of? Am I at a dead end? Thanks
