I had been dealing with this one for a few days now and finally solved it. Hopefully my pain will help someone else in the future.

Somehow some nasties got past Zone Alarm, Spy Sweeper (all shields up,) Tea Timer, and NAV. By the time I had cleaned everything, I was still having problems, went back to the Temp folders and all the files that I thougt had been deleted were there with some brothers.

So, I did what any red blooded Americal Tech Super Hero would do and blasted them with Spybot Shredder. All green check marks. Back to Explorer, they're still there laughing at me. So, I hit them with CCleaner, all gone,(BOF POW) ran it twice, all gone. Check back in Explorer, You guessed it, those rotten little monsters are still there!! :

I tried everything I could think of in Safe Mode and regular boot. Finally resorted to the Registry Cleaner in RegSupremePro, it cleaned out 437 registry issues and suddenly I could delete the undeleteble.

Moral to the story; sometimes, even though you did everything right, the rotton little monsters are still trying to mess you up leaving their mess in your registry.? :smiley_pc:
