Windows 2k...no problem...then no restore.

I would suggest that it may be AVG that has the problem here. Maybe you want to download the trial of Norton 2005 just to double-check. Install Norton, un-install AVG, run Norton & clean etc > then keep it until the trial runs out/buy it.

So far I have uninstalled SOPHOS and AVG and just ran SPYBOT - found 94 cases of spyware - and removed 92 of them!

Also I've just been to see the trained monkeys at PCWorld and bought a copy of Norton - its currently running - will keep you updated. :|

these 2 should find and delete it. Yea some times the paid ones are terrilbe i have the spysweeper and i cant get off a home page hijacker thats why im here to and none of the cleaners find that at all.
