I have a new Diamond XtreameSound 5.1 and a 10 year old soundblaster live! 4.1 speakers. Both sound cards won't work. Could the PCI slots not be working? I think the WI-FI card I installed didn't work in one of the PCI slots either. I have a cd to the diamond one. Please help me get any sound going through only 2 speakers and an amp with subwofer.

Are you able to see those devices in Device Manager?
Can you give us more information about your system?

If getting get the necessary drivers is the issue, you can try this

NO the audio card isn't even listed in device manager. I did disable the sound blaster card. and looked for updates for the driver. the sound blaster card worked great with this amp.

Am I correct in assuming that you have both cards installed in your system.
The soundblaster works but you have it disabled?
You would like to have both running or just the new one?
