You sure about that? I used about 3 feet of old spare speaker wire and a 3.5mm plug from old headphones and a rca plug from ripoffshack. The sub is under my desk and the cable goes all over my overloaded power strip and I have no EMI probems.

It works great in games. I mostly(only) play BattleField2 and its awesome! You can feel the armor piercing bullets, the killer explosions, rumbling of the tanks and roar of the jets. And thats on like 5% power!!
Videos could be better. Probably I have to setup the decoder a bit better.
