Red face No sound

Ive lost all audio from my pc..... I think that I might have mistakenly deleted files ? I have followed all windows "help" suggestions without any success. My OS is windows xp home edition version 2002.
Is there any way I can download any audio drivers to get my sound back, or is it not as simple as that ?

Thanks in anticipation,

Izzy303030

Default Re: No sound

Hello izzy and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Ok firstly what is make and model of your computer?

Have you checked nothing is muted under sound?

Try this:click start scroll to my computer and right click on it and scroll and open properties. Then click on hardware tab then device manager tab open sound devices by clicking on the + and uninstall your sound card.Restart your computer and let found new hardware wizard install it for you.
