Default [Resolved] I accidentally deleted soundmax and i don't know how to get back my sound!

I need some help with this.

My specs are as follows:

Acer Aspire 5030 V1.00
Windows XP
Multimedia: Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device

I've tried searching on Acer's website and all i found was a driver for Realtex. is that correct? cos it doesn't seem to match what Belarc diagnosed on my com.

Is there another driver which i could dl?

Pls help! it's been agonising! Cheers!

Let's try this again. You need to run the reports again and save a copy of each to your desktop.

Then, when you reply, look under the Message text window, you'll see a button that says Manage Attachments.
Click on the button.
Attach the files that your saved to your desktop.

Good luck...

Try this site:Acer Europe - Service & Support, Drivers & Utilities, Downloads, Notebook, Aspire 5030

I am sure you should be downloading the realtek driver?

I know its europe but the global site is down.

Download Unimodem Half Duplex Wave Device 4.11.5.2 - Unimodem Half Duplex Wave Device

Please, do this link again...DriverAgent.com Fix Your Driver Problems Instantly with DriverAgent
This time after the scan is done, click on the IE Page at the top of your IE window
then click on Save As...
You want the .mht format
Save the scan report to your desktop, then attached it to your next reply.

Suggest you do this after you install the drivers that Jelly Bean showed you.
That way we will know what other drivers you need.

If you are short on harddisk space, suggest you download and install this program (it's free) CCleaner ... Alternative Download.
1. After installing...run the program...click on Analyzer...then click on Run Cleaner.
2. On the left side of the window, click on Registry...click on Scan for issues...click on Fix selected issues.

This program will cleanup your temp files and cookies which could give you some more disk space.

I look forward to your new driver scan report.

Good Luck...
