I just took out my power supply to replace a nonworking fan. When I put it back in and restarted my computer, my sound no longer works. Every time I reboot, the logon sound plays for a second or so and then no sound plays after that. I think I plugged everything back in correctly, but I could be overlooking something or it could be an entirely different issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Can you fill in your PC details so that we can better help you with this problem, as well as any future problems you may have. You can do this by clicking on Quick Links followed by Edit Options. Can you also tell me what make and model power supply was installed and the wattage?

Also, if you have a sound card (as apposed to onboard sound), please can you make sure that the card has not become loose during the process of swapping out your power supply?
