Im becoming rather annoyed lately due to the random untimely demises of my computers sound. Ill go around and be watching a vid on Youtube or Listening to some music when all of a sudden POOF my sound vanishes, aaaand videos only seem to play two seconds before freezing to a halt. Please help me.

do me a favor and go into your control panel then sounds & audio devices and tell me what type of sound card you have. you might need a new driver.

Im taking a stab here since its giving me quite a few different things under my Sound stuff. But I have a SoundMAX Intergrated Digital Audio card.

do me a favor and run driver alert from pcpitstop.

this will let us know what driver you have and what one we need to update for you.

Do I need to like register this program for it to show me that I need to upgrade it?
