Default No sound, BUT WHY?

Hey,

I've recently finished building my pc, but of course there's still issues...

My computer gives no sound output, i have some creative plug-and-play speakers and i get this problem... something about...

"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system."

Any ideas?? please dont hessitate to say...

GingerGlen, please can you give us more details about your system. Including motherboard, soundcard and Windows version.

Oh of course Hengis...

I've got an Intel D945GCcr essential series board.
Trying to run off the on-board sound (Intel High Definition Audio)
Running Windows XP
