Default sound issues

ok the master control volume are all set to max.. however when i play games on my pc.. the sound is just fine at "normal speaker voulme" while is i watch tv on media center or othr onle video i have to turn my speaks up to nearly max volume just to BARELY hear whats going on... this problem didnt used to occur.. is teh past my game volume levels worked just fune for my media center and online video levels (and the speakers werent turned all the way up with the games volume settings bein low if thats what youre thinking lol).. but now for no reason at all it like that....

Its kinda annoying watching something online and having to turn my speakers all the way up to made it sound like "normal room volume" only to forget to turn the speaks back down when i switch back to gaming and nearly having my eardrums explode lol.. any idea what the problem is? (also yes the online video's volume in the media player are set all the way up).

Default Re: sound issues

Windows Media Player ?
I would just un/reinstall it--I've had it become corrupted a few times--reinstall fixes it. Probably driver-recognition issues.
