OK for those drivers, here are some sites

NVIDIA Drivers
Go there for the video card drivers

VIA Technologies VIA Rhine Family Fast Ethernet Adapter Driver Summary
Go here for the ethernet drivers

Via Bus Master Ide Controller drivers Windows 95-98-98Se-Me-2000-XP
Go here for the IDE bus drivers

Download Drivers - Video Adapters - OPTi - CMI8738/C3DX PCI Audio Device - driver5312.zip
Go here for the sound card drivers

btw i tried to find as many from the manufacturer's site as i could, but this proved difficult. And if the drivers try to tell you that they are already up-to-date, i wouldn't go doubting it, ive read in many places that driver agent gives false out of date errors, and as far as i know the plug and play monitor shouldnt need drivers

EDIT: and the drivers for the mouse, i looked on logitech website, but it wasnt even listed, so here they are: Logitech HID-compliant MX320 Laser Mouse 2.49.0.0 - Windows - VersionTracker

And if you give us the model of your screen i *may* be able to find drivers for it too

If you get confused (some of the download links are kind of hidden) let me know.

Drivers you need:

NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500

VIA Bus Master IDE Controller

VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter

CMI8738/C3DX PCI Audio Device

Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller - click on this ->

Logitech HID-compliant MX320 Laser Mouse
NOTE: You will have to identify your Mouse to get the driver

looks like i beat you to the punch gandalf, i know i wasnt participating in this thread before but i figured i'd leand a helping hand, and you might want to refer to my link for the mouse drivers, theyre not listed by logitech

EDIT: by "theyre not listed" i meant to say the mouse isnt listed, figured id point that out, since it wouldnt be too good if the drivers werent listed

tall_jono, to begin with, this isn't a race. So you didn't "beat you to the punch" as you put it. The purpose here is to provide assistance, not confusion, to members who need help. And, from the look of your links they are less than professional so therefore of no use to me.

i didnt mean it as a race, i didnt even know that u you were posting the links, how could i?, i was trying to provide assistance, i gues i just dont have as much experience at driver searching as you do, i will try to phrase my point better in future, and i did not mean to cause any confusion and i never said that he should use my link for ALL the drivers, just for the mouse as after going through the lists on the logitech website, i could not find their particualar model of mouse

EDIT: my apologies if you took offence from anything i said, i would change the post but im sure that that would just make this even more confusing for anyone else who read this
