Smile Realtek speakers

Hi there , i am having problems with my sound on my pc , i have Vista and the system is quite new i think , the problem i am having is that when i am playing certain games eg Command and Conquer the person who commentates voice does not does not come thru ! The sound on a few games has similar problems , any guesses

I would "guess" you do not have up to date drivers.

First, check your system drivers by clicking on Start>Windows Update. Click on "Check for updates".

Second, recommend you click on the Mr. Driver link in my signature and check the status of your non-system drivers.

Hey Iwearahalo, you don't seem to be having much luck with pc's at them moment , hopefully we'll sort that though ,


whats your current system specs?, (sound card would be helpful ).

I'm going to bed. It's 4AM here. If you get a reply soon, go with it. The member comes first.

I suspect a Realtek driver update (Realtek driver) will fix this problem, but recommend a complete check of all the drivers since it is a new system.

Hi bugsey / Gandalf
I am not sure it has anything to do with luck but moreso my complete and utter ignorance with computers ! Anyway how do i find what the specs are and more to the point what shall i look for ? I can get some infomation from here at work .

Hmm maybe a bit hard to find out your specs while your at work, don't suppose you know the make and model of your pc?.
