How can you take cassette recordings and transfer them to the computer to burn a cd of them?

Try taking a double sided small cord (don't know the technical name, its where both sides are the same as headphone jacks) and plug one into the headphone jack of the tape player and one into the computers input jack. Then find a program like Audacity and record and then find another program to burn a CD with.
