Default [Resolved] currupt file?

I am not sure if some of my mp3 files are corrupt or if i need to download codecs.
some of my mp3 files were working perfectly until a week ago i obtained some song files that needed the AFLAC codec and I downloaded the codec. ever since then my files are not working properly. part of the song will work and play correctly and then in the middle of it it will stop and by looking at the file information it says the song file is 3 minutes however it will only play few seconds of it. I unistalled the aflac codec from my computer and I am still having the problem. I am not sure if this files are now corrupt? or if I need to change the settings on my computer. any advice?

Sound like you picked up a virus or other kind of bug with your download of the AFLAC codec.

Do you have an up to date AntiVirus program?
You can use the Free AV Scan at the bottom of this message.

Good Luck...

Hi welcome to the forum If you have uninstalled the codec then try this go to start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and restore your pc to a date before you installed the codec. Let me know how you go
