I have recently reformatted my pc with xp, and it has no sound, it says no audio device in the control panal, I am at my wits end. this is the belarc analysis if it helps.

hi mark, welcome to the PCHF.

Most likely you need to download new drivers for your sound card.
Do you know if it's onboard or if it's a PCI sound card?

Unfortunatley i don't see any ifnormation about it in your first post.

Hi
I am not the most computer minded person in the world , but as far as i know the sound is inbuilt into the motherboard??
this is whatt is says on front and back of pc, if its any help?

it has got a tv and radio tuner fm card also there , not sure if that is the soundcard or not?
