Ok, so heres my problem:

I want to be able to talk using my headset to all my friends. The problem is, everytime I click voice conversation, a message comes up that says:

Your computer does not have a sound card, or a sound card is not selected.

If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've been trying to get this to work for MONTHS!

Hello Rusty,

Welcome to PCHF.

What software are you using? Can you use your sound card normally otherwise?

- Can you try My Computer, Control Panel, Sound and Audio Devices.
- Click on the Audio tab, and reselect your audio devices under playback, recording and MIDI.
- Click on the Voice tab, and reselect your audio devices under playback and recording.

On msn was your headset configured and set up properly. I think that msn has a wizard that comes up to set up sound options for microphones, im not sure how you get it to come up again. Maybe try installing msn messenger again.
Also check that your firewall if you have one isn't blocking anything.
