Hi all

I have a problem with my sound in play back. After I record something from video it plays back distorted. I lowered the volume down to just off the bottom and still get it but quieter.
Its the same in windows Movie Maker and the basic sound recorder. Im using Line In.
Any ideas?

Is "normal" playback of files you haven't recorded ok?

Normal play back of windows sounds, internet music, wav`s and mp3 are all perfect. When recordeing all sounds fine, on play back it sound louder. seems if to much sound is going into the recording.

Did you check the volume level in control panel --> sounds --> for your line in/out?

Yes I have, tryed all volumes for Rec and playback. tried it all at different levels. Do you think it might be the sound card? It was one that came with the PC not sure what it is.

Did you try unplugging and replugginh the lin out back in? Somtimes they can get touchy.

Also do you have WMP levels low and other high?
