I have a Toshiba Model V3100 with on board sound that is not working. Need a driver please.

go to manufacturers website -toshiba- and under support look for driver downloads.

I did that and downloaded driver V310SN28.exe. Followered instructions and unzipped and installed driver but computer does not find the driver. It is onboard sound and should be the sound driver for that model - Model V3100

Please download and run unknown device identifier and check for the audio device details. And then i would recommend www.driverguide.com to find the driver you need for your device. driverguide.com needs a registration which is free and safe. I am suprised toshiba website didnt provide you with the right driver ( assuming that you have gotten the right driver )
