when you said the phones socket on the frount of the pc, is this linked through the main sound card output or is it a seperate out put on the sound card, if that makes sense. :lol:
let me explain it better, is the inside wired up like one of these. Mine is wired up like the second so when i plug headphnoes in the front the back one cuts out automatically.
I have no idea I rang up the store I bought it at last night (help line) and they went through a bunch of tests and eventually said the sound chip wasn't working. They are gonna send an engineer round mine when the part comes in they need and they ll replace it. They said they need a motherboard to come in. Thanks for the help but at least Ive got it sorted now.
