Howdy DjSatin

Just a quick thing, you say you are wanting to become a DJ. My advise to you would be to go out and buy yourself a proper soundcard.

Onboard sound cards are not that great really, its always a good idea - especially if you are going to be using it "professionally" to get a decent card.

But we will still try and resolve this issue.

Download the driver that Hengis posted onto the forum for you, the one named "ac9714a_wxp"
Once download extract it to a folder on your desktop, call it Audio.

Go into your Device manager and remove/uninstall everything that is under the Tab "Sound, video and game controllers"

Then restart your computer.

When you computer boots up it should automatically install your sound card, if it comes up asking you to provide a disk then point it to the location of the AUDIO directory that you created on the desktop.

I will keep searching for other solutions just in case.

Excellent point Zimbo.

DJ, I'm not up on the latest and greatest hardware the way my esteemed collegues are, but I do know that even a decent (as in not amazing) sound card can make an enormous difference in sound quality.

Zimbo i did unistall everything under sound, video and game controller ?each time clicking do not restart now untill i uninstalled everything i can't unistall audio Codec,Legacy audio drivers, legacy video cpature device,Media Conrtol Devices and Vidoe Codecs there is no uninstall option. ?upon rebooting new hardware found installs the soundMax intergrated digital control as i had before doing the mircosoft windows update to ?via Ac97 audio control.
i was back to step one how to get the mic to be used within Sam broadcast software and talk on air. with soundmax the out put sound is great no speeding up no scrathy no pops but i can't use the mic.

i installed ?the viaudio.inf and the sound quaility is awful. and windows media player won't even play my mp3 as i said in the previous post

you asked why do i not get a sound card? i don't know what one to get for my system,or how to put it in as you have seen by my system specs its a chipset on the mother board. i am no pc tech lol i will fry something. A professional dj lmao ?i was going to do this as a favor to a friend he ownes the station http://www.crossfire-radio.com ?he has to auto play because not many want to volenteer thier time to dj, i have time to donate and i have a nice selection of music from oldie's to techno to pop to ?rock from country to heavy metal I love music!!!!!!i have a 120gb external hard drive filled with nothing but ?music i coppied from bought and paid for cd's. and as he puts it i have a nice sounding voice he said i was perfect for djing. i might be lol but my pc isn't.
Sam braodcasting is supposed to work even if you have no soundcard as long as it is configured right.in which it is i sent him screen shots of how i had it configured. ?i have you guys baffled with this problem they to at spacialaudio help forums are also. no one else seems to have this problem and they say its a hardware problem.
i cannot call hewlett packard the pc is out of warenty because it a refurbished pc. ?i have the model number of 521c on the front casing but yet in the hp support service infromation it will say its a 511n model, unless i want to pay for the service call. otherwise they won't give any advise. and if i use the recovery for drivers Cd there is like 5 audio drivers to choose from sound blaster live (wmd),Invidia Nforce audio driver,Crystal audio driver,Sis 7012 audio driver and ADI audio drive. so which would i choose? i sure don't know. ?

:-D OH NO DjSatin,

i have you guys baffled with this problem
You don't know us very well, we have only just begun to figure this out. And we will figure this out.

Make sure you follow the instructions that the guys give you exactly, that makes a difference in trying to troubleshoot long distance.

i can't unistall audio Codec,Legacy audio drivers, legacy video cpature device,Media Conrtol Devices and Vidoe Codecs there is no uninstall option.
Perhaps, these items need to be deleted and reinstalled, what do you think Zimbo?

Dj, also, our guys are particulary good at walking you through installs and figuring out how to get the best one for the least money. You might want to think about taking that track.

We have a new Live Support system that since it is in it's training phase, may work to your advantage.

Adding a PCI (sound) card is reall easy , have a look here:

http://www.build-your-own-computer-t...pci-cards.html

If you want to get an other soundcard just name what you want to spend and we'll have a look for you.
