I got it from the North American version of the website. I'm not sure about the european version.

Have you double checked that nothing is muted/turned down in the windows options and creative options?

Also do you have an entry for creative in youre start menu and does it have an "creative restore defaults" button?

I did download the latest driver on that US Creative website. Do you think I have to download another one? Why would my sound all of a sudden stop? I checked all the sound settings and in Creative I restored everything back to default. Still no sound...

What size was that driver? they first list an update and below that the "real" driver pack. ( if i selected the right sub model for youre sound card , the standard live!)

Why it happend? I dont know yet. Could be that the driver got currupted or maybe even the card has had it..

The driver I downloaded was ~6MB. I'm not even sure anything was changed after it installed itself.

That is only the update patch for the driver pack itself , thats 23.3mb:

First install this one and then the 6mb patch.


ps; i asumed you have xp , if not then you have to select the proper one
