Default [Fixed] I don't have any sound and not sure why

I have an Epox socket 939 9NPA nForce 4 motherboard, and I don't really see anything that says if it comes with sound, or if I would need a sound card. If it comes with sound then, I have speakers, but they aren't much. They are 2 channel audio I think it's called. There are only two boxes where sound is suppose to come out. If anyone can help, then I would appreciate it.

Welcome to PCHF Lethal Simian,

yes you have onboard sound...

Realtek ALC850 Audio AC'97 8-CH

All you have to do is plug your speakers into the Line in...Input of your sound card in the rear of the Case.. (should be green)

I think you mean Line out/Phone Merlin, line in is often blue/yellow/black and meant to put sound into your system.

And in the UK the line out is normally "Green"

I probably should have said this in the first post, but I never thought of it. When I go into Sounds and Audio Devices, it says "No Audio Device". We have another computer and it says "SoundMAX Digital Audio". I also looked at the speakers for anything that said that, but it only said Yamaha on it. I think we might have done something wrong with connecting the sound. If it helps, I also play Warcraft 3 and when I first enter it it says "Unable to initialize base sound services, base sound is disabled". Again, thanks for the help.
