well, i installed the latest drivers, but it still wont work. the only slot that seems to work is the "Front" slot. the picture calls for a 9-pin DIN cable, but my subwoofer doesnt have a slot for that... damn!

Ya above it shows the speakers that will work with the USB version of the card..

those are all Creative speakers though

You dont have to use both , either the three tullip plugs or the 9 pin DIN cable.

Do you have any documentation with the card? There has to be an option somewhere to switch from stereo mode to 5.1 mode.
