Sound etc - [Answered] conflicts.......(i think!!!) posted in the Hardware forums; hi guys ....new here.. got a prob with a laptop i have had for a couple of months now, when i bought it it never came with any drivers or ...

Default [Answered] conflicts.......(i think!!!)
hi guys ....new here..

got a prob with a laptop i have had for a couple of months now, when i bought it it never came with any drivers or softwear....(got it cheap)..

now the sound will not work...says there is no sound card installed...(but there is)..

and when i have looked in the system there are lots of exclamation marks and yellow question marks on some things....some of which are...

base system device.
ethernet controller.
multimedia audio controller
video controller
universal serial bus (usb) controller
network adapters

i am running windows xp professional.
the laptop is an? acer travelmate 2303wlmi,
Intel celeron m 340 processor
1.5 ghz 400 mhz fsb
512 KB...

any help would be much welcome........
