Default [Answered] headphone jack broke off

I have tangent laptop i had to get when i went to college. one i accendently pushed the headphone plug in and it ripped out the piece that the headphone plugs into. i dont mind using the laptops speakers if i have to but it seems set in headphone mode or something. the speakers dont work, as if there were headphones in and they are de-activated. i had a warranty under the school i was at but i dont go there anymore otherwise id go have it fixed. someday ill pay for it but right now im wondering if theres anyway i can manually set it to play through the speakers even if it thinks there are headphones plugged in.

Have you tried a piar of needle nose plier's to get the piece out? Or did the headphoen jack come out when you pulled it out? You can try to disable the headphone in through your sound(the little speaker in the bottom right hand of your desktop)

What were going to try to do is make it to where your headphone is defult for playback so it will come through the speakers
