Default [Fixed] Shutdown sound

Hey just real quick, ok this is my problem, whenever I shutdown, and I leave my speakers on, at the time the computer turns itself totally off, it makes a weird sound! Like a really scratchy kinda sound. Also sometimes when I leave them off, the computer makes kinda of a beep! So, how can I fix this? Thanks!

Could it be that you use an un-grounded wall socket for youre pc?

Well, I have this little box where you connect most of the cables to plug them in together at the wall, but I think that the little stick on the plug of the box broke one day we were moving to another house. But the cable thats connected to the computer and the little box, that one does have the grounded stick!

If on one point in the "chain" the grounding is broken then it doesn't work at all , and it might be the cuase of that sound.
Can you plug youre comp and speakers directly in the grounded wall socket and see if the prob is still there?

I cant cause the socket on the wall only has one hole for one plug, and well, the computer and the speakers need like 3 plugs without the monitor included!
