Hi All, how is everyone?

I have a belkin USB lead that connects my VCR to my PC. This works fine except the audio is distorted. I have tryed all kinds of adjustments of the volume levels with the same result or no sound at all.

Now the sound is fine if I do a stright audio (With no video) from my VCR / Tape to PC

Im running on XP Home with a Avance AC97 sound card.

any ideas?

I would say its possibly your sound card, the amount of times I have had problems with the AC97 sound card (onboard).

Do you have another machine or a friends machine that you can take out a PCI sound card and place it in your machine to test the sound.
