Default [Pending] XP Pro Redbook!

Hello,

I recently updated my C-Media sound driver because when running certain games my system crashed an I got the blue-screen with the sound driver ("cmuda.sys") name on it. After this I noticed that at every boot the "Event Viewer" shows a "redbook" with the information below:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: redbook
Event Category: None
Event ID: 10
Date: 3/14/2005
Time: 07:54:15
User: N/A
Computer: KOVACS-VWTLEGZH
Description:
This drive has not been shown to support digital audio playback.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Hello and Welcome to PCHF

Where did you get the update for your sound card?

I'm not too sure whether its a faulty card or bad driver, could you try download and install the driver from here:
http://www.short-media.com/download.php?d=220

Also would you be able to run this program and post the log here.
