Hello,
I recently updated my C-Media sound driver because when running certain games my system crashed an I got the blue-screen with the sound driver ("cmuda.sys") name on it. After this I noticed that at every boot the "Event Viewer" shows a "redbook" with the information below:
Event Type: Information
Event Source: redbook
Event Category: None
Event ID: 10
Date: 3/14/2005
Time: 07:54:15
User: N/A
Computer: KOVACS-VWTLEGZH
Description:
This drive has not been shown to support digital audio playback.

Could you tell me if this is because the driver is not the right one/it isn't properly installed or I might bee having a hardware problem with my sound card. The sound card is on-board with the following info given by the driver soft:
3D Audio Engine: Xear3D CRL3D DS3D EAX2.0 A3D1.0
Audio CODEC: CMI9738
Audio Driver Version: 5.12.01.0039.3(36)
Audio Controller: SIS 7012 Series Audio Controller
DirectX Version: DirecX 9.0b
