    Windows 8.1 Application crash

    Hello guys,

I came here to ask for your help.

Something strange is happening with my pc atm, don't know what but I'll try to explain it.
I've installed windows 8.1 on new SSD Samsung 850 Evo and mb I have is Rampage III Extreme (does the job).
Everything working fine, but the problem is... sometimes when I run a game, it crashes, without any warning, even "kills" google chrome that was running in background while I was gaming.
It is like someone just killed the process in background.

Good to mention, I was getting low memory warnings by win, suggesting to turn off application (6 gigs of mem), but I turned that off in policy.

    Thank you for your help.

Normally you only get a memory warning if you are running out of disk space as windows should just drop memory to hd

Well memory warning is not the problem now. For example, I was playing a game (while I had google chrome opened), and in a second, boom, desktop, no google chrome running and now game process. Didn't get any message what happened.
    Any idea?

If that's a newest, most demanding game that makes you troubles, most of them are happiest with 8GB. specially when you run them together with Chrome that is known for high RAM usage.
Another problem could be overheating or lack of power on the PCI express lanes. Do you have power to GPU connected from 2 separate PSU connectors on the PSU itself or only from one branch ? One branch on 6 pin and other on 8 pin ?

It is 2 separate connectors and I stressed my GPU and everything was working fine. Correct one 6 pin one 8 pin.
