Default upgrades for my computer

New graphics card cooler- ZEROtherm GX710 Ceramic VGA Cooling - Retail

New Case Fan (to replace noise dynex one)-ENERMAX UC-12EB 120mm Case Fan - Retail

New RAM-A-DATA Vitesta 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model ADBGC1A16K - Retail

I was trying to reclaim my computer as a MCPC wich it was, untill the graphics card fan got really loud, and i had to quick-replace my exhaust fan. Now, with my new Enermax Fan and its quiet 44CFM and Enlobal Bearing (Magnetic Barometric) and the new ZEROtherm cooler, my computer is now dead silent. (the old dynex fan was rated at 38.5DB (no im not joking) My graphics card now overclocks way more than before, expecially the VRAM now. The RAM is much better than my previous, mis-matched Samsung, Nanya, PNY, Elixir memory lol. it runs very fast, i can get read benchmarks of 6143MB/s and writes of 2600MB/s with Latency of ~100 ns. my FR in oblivion have skyrocketed with these new additions. the only thing i would wish is that the graphics card cooler had a copper base instead of aluminum. but hey it works amazing. PLEASE COMMENT THOUGHTs/CRITIQUES. yes i know the memory is not a common brand but it was semi-cheap, with good timings, fast, and with good reviews and heatspreaders. Ran memtest 86 overnight with zero errors. and as always newegg shipping was incredibly fast

Nice ram benchmarks..

get mine to read about 12k but thats about right..
Wish you had a different 775 motherboard I bet though.. Love newegg as well, and sometimes tigerdirect has some lower prices but only once in awhile.

ugh you have no idea lol. still, this Pentium 4 has never let me down. it does everything i do without complaint. i was hoping to get some DDR-433 or DDR-500 but i dont think the chipset supports anything DDR1 above 400mhz (i know it goes up to DDR2-533) but its plenty fast enough. besides that would requier me to buy windows, as the system restore discs wont work with a new motherboard.

in addition to those, i also purchased a new power supply. this one. MSI TurboStream 460W BTX 460W Power Supply - Retail

i got it because its cheap-ish, by a decent brand, good reviews, decent power. Also, its heavy which is a sign of a quality Power Supply Unit (good capacitors) sooo.. im pretty much done. cept for eventually a new processor. but... eh

Ya I would get the silverstone as well. As Antec puts all their money into their more expensive SoHo's and truepowers..
