OK. I have decided to going for a new PC desktop build up with the following hardware configuration :

1. Process : Inte Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86 Ghz
2. Mother Board : Intel Desktop board D946 GZIS
3. Hard Disk Drive : Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 250 GB SATA 2 3GB/sec. NCQ
4. Memory : Corsair 2 x 1GB NECC 240 Pin DDR2 SD Ram DDR2 533 Mhz Dual channel
5. Optical Drive : Samsung Write Master 16x DVD +/- RW Dual Layer
6. Monitor : Samsung Sync Master 510 N 15" TFT LCD Monitor
7. Video Card : GE Force XFx 7300 LE 512 MB Turbocache with TV Out GE, VGA and DVA.
8. Integarated FAst Ethernet 10/100
9. Speaker : Creative USB speakers
10. Integrated sound Card 7.1 (Creative Sound Blaslter Live 24 bit)
11. Operating System : Windows Vista Home Premium OEM Edition.

Please indicate the compatibility of Video Card, Memory, Sound Card with processor and Mother Board and let me have your general comments on the above build

I'd go for a faster processor (I have a 2.4 GHz) in my desktop with a similar RAM/video card setup.

Nah foreverlaur - that should be fine - my E6300 works wonders and if i need E6600 speeds i can overclock

Although what are the uses for the PC?

Also I don't see a case in there?
