Show off your System - [Resolved] new upgrade posted in the Hardware forums; erm i would do that, but someone siad for me to load optimal setting on my bios now my pc wont boot up at all...

Gaz, go back into BIOS, and load default settings.

yeah i had to reset the bios on the motherboard to do that, but its ok now, i tried swapping my ram over and for some reason its working, like new now, no crashes reported in the last hour so its lookin good must be a dodgy bit of ram, would that explain why having both intogether would cause it to crash

At least you have identified the problem now. You won't have any problems until you use up the memory area that is faulty. Swapping the modules with each other would just change that location. If when you have used up that memory you start experiencing the problem, either use memtest, or remove one stick at a time (which is what I think you have started doing by the sounds of it).
