Dell XPS M1210

That's what I bought. I wish I could have afforded the upgrade to 2 GB of RAM but this should suit my fine as it is not my primary computer. It has 3 years of at home service warranty, 3 years accidental damage, 3 years anti-virus (even though I can get it free from school), and that thing that finds your computer if its stolen

Cost me
$1462.05 before tax

Hehe, well at least you have some common sense .

Ive never, ever seen laptops as gaming machines, they just cant cut it imo, i remember a few years back a few friends/family members thought otherwise, and, well, they soon regretted it afterwards

as is the Dell notebook with a 20" screen on it -- literal desktop replacement

oh and its Trent Micro PC-cillin anti-virus. Thats what my desktop has too.

I personally don't bother with him them. I know what to click and what not to click and I am the sole user of my network. I've never had an intrusion or virus in my life and for two years I never had anti-virus software :-p

Anyways, the M1210 was the best deal for an itty bitty. There was a Sony I really liked but I've had great experiences with Dell and it was about $500 more for something quite similar. I compared and contrasted for a solid three weeks before making a decision. I'll let ya'll know how I like it though.

Thanks for the input!
