I want to know if this build will work. The prices on my selected hardware go up and down all the time, so I will probably be able to get stuff. My birthday is next month, too, and I'm going to buy the mobo before then, so hopefully I'll get most of my stuff (enough to get it working decently, at least).

Hey again rodent (:

I'd say its all compatible. but then again, id have someone else check it to make sure.

Oh and just out of personal experiance, make sure you get a psu that will certainly support everything. Try not to go cheap. I can see that youre not, but just to make sure you dont decide to change your mind and go with some cheap psu. They are important. (:

i would say that is a pretty good system you got going there. wait.. ok look, at this, your ram might not be fully compatible with your mobo. it supports 1.8v and you have 2.2v. Intel 965 boards are somewhat picky about RAM. if you are running vista the E6400 or higher might be better. if you want ultra graphics performance, than yes go with the dual Graphics card SLi mode.

I bought the case today. I got the combo deal, but once I get everything done, I'm going to sell the combo deal's PSU and get this:

Newegg.com - OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700W Power Supply - Retail

Which, now that I notice, is the same one I mentioned above...
Heh, whatever. ^_^;;

I would still very much like to know if the RAM I listed in Post #4 is compatible?
