at stock speeds it was unbelievably fast compared to my old p4 3.0ghz. in all benchs it blew it away by a mile. i say my fps double in bf2. my old machine did around 50 and with my new one i pulling 100 fps at 1280*1024 with quality and AA at max.

That case looks familiar

I'd suggest reversing the fans...will reduce the ambient temp of your case...not by much as you only have one hard drive...but it will help keeping everything cool (especially video card and cpu)

And definately get to that cable management It will make you computer brag worthy - especially since you have the window'd side panel.

EDIT: On the cable note...i noticed that you've got the back chasis fan plug right above the cpu fan....i would highly recommend unraveling it and threading it around the cpu so that it won't get jamed....i've seen too many end products of that unraveling itself and getting caught in the fan...fan blade gets cut off and cpu over heats.... just a warning

Yeh thanks for that. It is hanging quite a bit above tbh - its just the angle of the picture. I will prob do some cable management today and may reverse the fans.

GarHar - you noticed how bright the power led is it like dims the one below lol.

hey upgrader nice setup, yea i know power cables and ide cables can be a pain. i recently swapped cases and got a full tower case because my power cables were so long and i couldnt manage them well. is that a P5B motherboard ? so are you running a C2D in it ?
