Hehe...there is no single IT oriented company out there that you will find absolutely everyone loves...it's just not possible.

There was a few years back a real bad batch of Asus boards...they had some of the circuits backwards or somesuch (i think the rumour was a disgruntled employee) and caused quite alot of computers to fry all the parts that were connected....they recalled the motherboards after the first few times they got this.

Asus were quiet for a while after that, and I thought they actually went under - but glad they didn't.

And thanks for the link

I've had all major motherboards...and i've never had a problem with any of them - but i have received DOA when I was building computers for a living...but not as many as people make out - and we were pushing close to 500 computers a week (with 5 people).

Most instability issues are caused by static in the build - or driver related issues

no...i have other measures...but they're only effective if you do them 100% correctly...

And i'm not going to say what it is because "someone" will mimick my actions and not get it correct...possible damage to motherboard at my expense? definately not

what they don't tell you - is that AMD kicks Intels rear end in true 64bit processing...
I agree 100%
Core 2 Duo's are better in the areas of video processing and encoding. AMD's are cheaper and i feel have better motherboard support from nVidia and also perform better when gaming for their price.

Here are a few pics of my new computer. It is so quit compared to old one, also much faster. Its good compared to my old one but id still like to build a more powerful one this summer. Maybe with an Intel Core 2, 2Gb Ram, and a larger hard drive maybe 350 Gb.

Realy fast and quit. Love the space old computer had only 18 Gb.

17'' LCD monitor ,wireles keyboard and mouse

Still trying to run a wire to our tv anntena outside. I m shure that will make it much clear since its comes in pretty good with just bunny ears. But if i run the cabel i wont have to see any wires since its in the wall.

Seems to clear and fast grafics using my VGA monitor. Probaly better if i had a DVI monitor.

Pretty good for $49 but ish i had money for a better one. There is only one plug for a case fan.

When i get my $30 and $20 rebates ill buy another stick

Inside my new pc.
