Hi P-G-H,

Your board can only take 184-pin DDR, not 240-pin DDR2
DDR and DDR2 are totally different and are not backward compatible, read the definiton HERE, which explains it well. The part you want is about 1/2 way down the page headed Sticks/Modules and Backwards Compatibility

I need to inform you that your existing system uses AGP video, and the A8N SLI does not support AGP video. You will need either a PCI or PCI express video card if you don't have one already.
