I need help with building my new computer. I need to know what wont work and suggestions on what to change it to.

I havn't bought the parts yet. This is called checking to see if it works before buying it and spending 300 hours trying to figure out the problem

How much money you want to spend? I can show you a great pc part by part but would need to know about how much you want to spend!

Cause you dont want this


Hitachi Deskstar 7K250? ? Hard Drive
and you need a case

And your going to want XP. you can turn off all the eye candy to get it good and downa on resource hoggin

And as far as ram you would want either 2 or 4 of the pc 400.. if you get three you wont get the dual channel +'s

I can get great deals on parts so It's not really how much I want to spend. Lets just say my budgets around $2500-$3000

Edit: I already know I need a case.

What Merlin said , plus i would change the cd writer to a dvd writer. And definatly WinXP and a good set of speakers.
