What's your opinion on my system??? To me its outdated alot!!! It wont run Halo!! Could I run Half Life or Far Cry on it???

Want my honest opinion ?????? You should UPGRADE!

You will be able to run half life but i have a feeling you mean half life 2 , and no , half life 2 and farcry wont run with these specs.
Its becoming time to look for something new i'm afraid.

Half life 1 yes... Half Life 2 no.. FarCry no way. You need at least 512 megs of ram, at least an ATI 9600xt,you might be able to get away with your cpu though.

ok its as simple as this mate, a pc running at 512 ram, 1.8ghz amd athlon xp 2000 and a decent mobo will only just run halo, it will comfetably run half life one, not play anything else newer than halo. If u want to play far cry, and be set with the times standard, get your self minimum 1gig of ram, a processer pentium 4 3ghz or faster or a amd athlon 64 3000, and a geforce 6600gt or a 6800gt if u can afford it. A system like that will set u back about 400 englsh pounds or maybe 800 US dollars excluding the cost of a monitor and keyboard mouse speakers etc. Basically far cry deands sismilar specs to that, a 6600gt will be a good option for value and good performance, a gig of ram will set u for most of the games comig out atm and in the future and same with the processer

Halo actually runs ok on my system. None of the jaw-dropping graphics, but its ok and playable!

The only difference is I now have a geforce4 MX 440 64mb.
