You let your parents buy it cool, my parents bought my first computer a BBC Micro Model B. Believe me when I say that was the last time I let them go need one let alone buy one. My parents are not computer minded in any shape or form.

Yeah. DIY is always better than ordering from some vendor. Gives you more control and upgrade options.
