This is a "rogue" or fake program... there are known variants,also:
"Antivirus 2008" (free download)
"Antivirus pro 2008" (free download)
Do not download or install these... they will infect your PC. Removal is difficult.

You all need to know that there is (2) two addtional addtional or varients of "XP antivirus 2008" exist.

1/ It is "Antivirus 2008" (free download) this program must come in on some Malware.
This prog. when download will put (2) two files into your Program Files Folder.
1/ Antivirus 2008
2/ Antivirus 2008y
you will be able to remove the "Antivirs 2008" but not the "Antivirus 2008y". Because it is a closed user Program.

2/ It is "Antivirus pro 2008" (free download) this program must come in on some Malware.
